Kite-Turkey Alacati

Kiteboarding in Alacati, Turkey

Our Alacati kitesurf centre sits beside Alacati Bay, which is on the Cesme peninsular, a beautiful unspoilt part of Turkey's Aegean coast. Alacati is Turkey's leading wind sport centre thanks to the great wind and riding conditions all summer. We run IKO kiteboarding courses and kitesurf clinics from Kite-Turkey Alacati. For IKO course & clinic details contact us now.

Kite-Turkey Alacati also has a Kitesurf Pro Shop selling North Kiteboarding and Ion kitesurf equipment and kiteboard accessories, and is equipped with Wi-Fi internet, showers, changing and storage facilities.

Alacati's cobbled streets are lined with resrtaurants and bars

Depending on the wind direction we use one of two kitesurf areas on Alacati bay, with a short 5-10-minute transfer by Land Rover. Both kitesurf areas are excellent places to learn to kiteboard with shallow water and flat or mildly choppy conditions. Alacati Bay also provides great riding conditions for independent kiteboaders.

There are daily transfers to Kite-Turkey Urla, which is 29km (20 mins) away. Outside the main holiday months (June-August) there are many other local beaches that are open to kitesurfers. For more information or to book a transfer or package contact us now.

Our partner restaurant Makah has great snacks, food and a buzzing bar with plenty of space to chill-out after a kiteboard session. In the evenings Makah transforms into one of Alacati's top nightspots.

How to get here?

Alacati is 80 km west of the city of Izmir and can be reached easily from Izmir airport. Find out more about getting to Alacati.
