Our Urla Kitesurf Center, 29 km from Alacati, is located on a large protected bay with great conditions for kitesurfing throughout the long summer season. With shallow, flat-water and lots of space, Kite-Turkey Urla is a perfect place to learn how to kitesurf with our IKO kiteboard classes. Kite-Turkey Urla has an on-site restaurant and there is plenty of space to chill-out in the sun or relax after a kite session. The center has Wi-Fi internet, showers and changing facilities.

You can rent or demo North kites and kiteboards from our North Rental Centre at Urla.

Getting There

We have a transfer service leaving Kite-Turkey Alacati for Urla every morning, returning in the afternoon.

Our Urla kiteboard centre is on Icmeler Bay which is 29 km (15-20 mins) from Alacati. Exit the Izmir-Cesme highway (O-32) at the Karaburun junction (K-4). Turn left at the first roundabout. Kite-Turkey Urla is 400m west on D-300.

Kitesurfing in Urla

Our kitesurf centre in Urla has excellent conditions and is ideal for all levels, from beginners to advanced kitesurfers.

The student area is a great place to learn. There's a shallow, flat-water area with lots of space for beginners. The wind is cross shore.

There is a large protected bay for freeriding and freestyle.
